Camden Airport

Why Camden Is The Best Place To Learn!

Bankstown is the busiest airport in Australia. Even though they have three parallel runways there are often delays in taking off and landing which are costly when you are paying by the hour. At Camden it's extremely rare that you'll experience any delays.

As soon as you take off from Camden you are in the training area. At Bankstown it is necessary to fly out here before you can start doing manoeuvres.

At Bankstown there are a lot of other aircraft in the circuit which makes radio communications more difficult and distracting for a new student.

Camden is the only small airport in Sydney which has a control tower. When learning at other small airports you don't get a chance to practice communications with a tower. At times Camden tower may be closed, this then gives you the student to practice radio calls without the tower.

Camden has both a sealed and grass runway. This allows you to practice on both.

than scratch around in the dirt like a  turkey ...
