The RAA instructor rating is $10,000 which covers a very comprehensive 30 flight hour training course, plus up to 100 hours ground briefing training.
GST fee applies to all training and flights other than specific 150 hour commercial training & GA Instructor Rating training (the only exceptions).
TESTING with the CFI is at the above dual Rates plus $150, or in your own aircraft $350 (Ngt VMC $450)
Trial Instructional Flight 1/2 Hour flight in Jabiru J-160 plus briefing & GST =$120 total
Training in your own aircraft under the Gostner Air Operator’s Certificate: $90 dual – $50 solo. ($350 test)
Briefing time arranged with Junior Instructor $50 per hour, with Senior Instructor $60 per hour.
(Over and above normal free pre + post flight briefing.)
SPECIAL NOTE
If you own your own RAA aircraft (and are pilot in command) you must have either a minimum of PPL, or operate under our special RAA approval, to proceed into or out of Camden class D airspace (With Control Tower). This means being signed out on our Flight Authorisation book by one of our RAA instructors. He/she in turn must be convinced you are proficient for the task. This service provided by us carries a minimal $10 fee per flight if you have a full RAA pilot licence. (Otherwise if you are an RAA student pilot the normal training fees and conditions apply, see above)..
