Aerodiamond.com purchases Flight school

Rhoda & David Maddock owners of aerodiamond.com as part of natural growth have purchased Gostner Aviation Pty Ltd at Camden airport.

1st July 2004 -- David Maddock who has been developing the web pages http://www.aviation.net.au/ and aerodiamond.com over the last 6 months has with his wife Rhoda now purchased the flying school and Flight Charter organisation Gostner Aviation Pty Ltd trading as Gostner Aviation.

"How is it" many ask "that you get back into a flying school when so many are going broke." David replies to that question in the following way. "I believe that you can with God's help reverse  cycles and trends with a positive approach.

"So what is that positive approach" you may well ask? David who also started Arcas Airways at Albury in the late 70s and Aero Professional Training at Bankstown in the 80s says "I made it my business to find out direct from the Chief Pilots in Qantas on several occasions exactly what they were looking for in their Airline pilot applicants."

In addition we have on order the new Diamond DA42 which is a new technology aircraft the likes of which is far ahead of any other training aircraft in the industry today.

"We intend God willing" says David "to operate this aircraft completely around the clock, 24 hours per day in an airline type operation.which with the FADEC (Full authority digital engine Control) and glass cockpit modern equipment is already close to providing more customers than we can handle."

"Would you believe with all the interest in this modern training approach" David said "we are still short of instructors of the calibre we need."
